Been on the market for a new PC for a while 'and the liquidation of a purchase of this yesterday at the local level from Office Depot (sixty dollars discount enticed me over the limit;))

First impressions are that it seemed slower than I was expecting a quad-core processor running, but is still very fast (downloading software and CDs from which they load much faster than my old Pentium 4 1.2G)

1. one of these I got from Amazon was a nightmare. The computer crashed about a dozen times without any reason. I tried to reinstall Mac OS X from DVD sets, just to have the computer or crashes or fails to install after waiting a very long time. So, after 4 failed attempts and 7 hours of frustration, I gave and went back to Mac to Amazon. If the computer was faulty or not, I do not know for sure. I could not even eject the DVD installation, no matter what I tried. I think it's ridiculous that Apple does not provide an eject button.

I always falls with the Windows operating system Mac on this machine. NEVER crashes! There are some bugs, but once you get to know not to trigger, it runs PERFECT. Furthermore, the bug does not affect any of the data. They can only cause a menu to reappear without prompting you to do. All you have to do is close the windows (i use VMware, and not bootcamp paralelas not) and open it back up. I LOVE this computer. I currently have a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 4 GB of RAM and a GeForce 8800 512 MB video card with a 500 GB hard drive is so nice to have so much power, Windows and Mac (j 'Final Cut Pro uses a lot ), and an office on the ground or in a closet somewhere! This is an awesome machine. worth every penny.
